Can I post a review anonymously?+
Yes. All reviews on nextround are posted anonymously — your name and employer are never displayed alongside your content. However, your account (email and user ID) is associated with your reviews in our database. We will not voluntarily disclose your identity to anyone, including your employer. In rare cases where we receive a valid, legally enforceable court order, we may be compelled to disclose account information. We will notify you before complying unless prohibited by law.
Can my employer see who wrote a review?+
No. Employers cannot access user identity information through the Platform. We do not provide any tools or access that would allow employers to identify review authors. If you have been threatened or pressured by an employer over a suspected review, contact us at legal@nxtrnd.io immediately.
Can I review a company I no longer work at?+
Yes. nextround is specifically for reviewing interview experiences, not employment. All reviews cover the interview process — what it was like to be a candidate at a company — regardless of whether you received or accepted an offer.
What if I signed a non-disclosure agreement (NDA)?+
You should not post confidential information that is covered by an NDA. This includes specific technical assessment questions or challenges that were presented under a confidentiality agreement, internal company data, unreleased product details, or proprietary processes. General descriptions of the interview format, number of rounds, and overall experience are typically not covered by NDAs, but you should consult your specific agreement or a legal professional if you are unsure.
What if I believe a review about my company is false?+
If you are a company representative and believe a review is factually false or violates our Community Guidelines, you may submit a takedown request by emailing legal@nxtrnd.io with: (1) the URL of the review, (2) a specific explanation of what you believe is false or violates our policies, and (3) any supporting evidence. We review all requests and will respond within 10 business days. We will not remove reviews simply because they are negative — they must clearly violate our policies.
Can a company take legal action over a review?+
Under Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act (applicable in the US), nextround is not liable for user-generated content posted on the Platform. Users are responsible for their own content. We will comply with valid legal process but will vigorously challenge requests that seek to unmask anonymous reviewers without proper legal basis. If you receive a legal threat related to a review you posted, we encourage you to consult with an attorney. We are committed to protecting the anonymity of good-faith reviewers.
How do I request removal of my own review?+
You can edit or delete your own reviews at any time from your account dashboard (My Reviews). If you have deleted your account and need content removed, email privacy@nxtrnd.io with sufficient information to identify the content.
How do I request deletion of my personal data?+
You can delete your account at any time via account settings. Deletion triggers an automatic cascade that removes your profile, reviews, votes, tracker data, and saved companies. If you need additional help, contact privacy@nxtrnd.io. We aim to complete all deletion requests within 30 days. Note that aggregate, anonymized data derived from your activity (e.g., aggregate company ratings) may persist as it cannot be attributed to you individually.
Can I use nextround data for research or journalism?+
nextround data displayed publicly on the Platform may be referenced in research or journalism for editorial, educational, or informational purposes, provided it is attributed to nextround. Systematic scraping, bulk downloading, or commercial use of Platform data without written permission is prohibited. Researchers and journalists may contact us at press@nxtrnd.io to discuss data access.
How do I submit a copyright infringement (DMCA) claim?+
If you believe content on nextround infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice to legal@nxtrnd.io. Your notice must include: (1) identification of the copyrighted work, (2) identification of the infringing material and its URL on our Platform, (3) your contact information, (4) a statement of good faith belief that the use is unauthorized, (5) a statement under penalty of perjury that you are the rights holder or authorized to act on their behalf, and (6) your physical or electronic signature. We will process valid DMCA notices within 10 business days.
